PDF2GIS is an application that transforms floorplans and construction drawings into geo-data.

PDF2GIS can be used, among others, by municipalities and housing corporations to transform their archives into a valuable source of information about the inside of the buildings.

PDF2GIS uses artificial intelligence in combination with human input to process the drawings. Most of the work is done by the computer. The human corrects and approves the work of the computer. The corrections are used to continuously improve the self-learning algorithms.

PDF2GIS was created together with the city of The Hague as part of the “Startup in Residence” program.
